On May 7, U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel hosted a dinner reception to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fulbright scholarship program in Indonesia and the 20th anniversary of the American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF).

The 2013-2014 Fulbright U.S. Student Competition is Now Open!
The 2013-2014 Fulbright U.S. Student Competition is now open! We will be accepting U.S. student applications through October 17th, 2012. The U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or English Teaching Assistantships for students who are U.S. citizens. During their grants, Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences.

Two Fulbright alumni have been awarded 2012 Pulitzer Prizes. Fulbright alumni Stephen Greenblatt won the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction and John Lewis Gaddis won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography. Congratulations!

May 11, 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the Hungarian-American Fulbright Commission. The Commission was founded in 1992 to support the Fulbright Program in Hungary, which was established in 1978.
