November 2005 Meeting
The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) conducted its November 2005 quarterly meeting in Washington, DC where it met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs Thomas Farrell and with other officials from the Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Board also hosted a lunch for three participants in the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program (Lilik Lilik of Indonesia, Hasan Assiri of Saudi Arabia and Hassan Said of Morocco) and three participants in the Hubert H. Humphrey Program currently placed at local Washington, DC institutions of higher education (Aung Myo Chit of Burma, Marcia Elizabeth Siguenza of Ecuador, and Joana Mantey of Ghana).
