Dina Habib Powell is Managing Director and Global Head of the Office of Corporate Engagement at Goldman Sachs, which is comprised of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, 10,000 Women, Goldman Sachs Gives and the Charitable Services Group.  Prior to this, Ms. Powell served as Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs and as Deputy Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and prior to that, as Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel in the White House.

She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the American University in Cairo and a member of the Vital Voices Global Partnership Board of Directors. She is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum.

Ms. Powell holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Humanities from the University of Texas.  She is married to Richard Powell and they live in New York with their two daughters.

Ms. Powell was appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board by President George W. Bush in 2008.
