*Also recipient of the Critical Language Enhancement Award, which provides funding for up to six months of intensive critical language training, under the National Security Language Initiative (NSLI), before the regular Fulbright grant period begins. NSLI is an interagency effort to further strengthen national security and prosperity in the 21st century through strategic language learning of Arabic, Chinese, India, Korean, Persian, Russian and Turkic languages/language families.
