Vietnamese Scholars 

The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program in Vietnam is administered by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi.

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program
The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants to lecture and/or conduct postdoctoral research at U.S. institutions for an academic semester to a full academic year.

For the academic year 2007-2008, 8 Vietnamese scholars were awarded new Fulbright grants to the U.S.

Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) Program
The Fulbright SIR Program brings scholars and professionals from abroad to U.S. college and university campuses for a semester or an academic year, primarily to teach undergraduate courses. SIR grantees also assist in developing curricula and serve as a resource for faculty, students, and the community. Approximately 50 grants are awarded annually worldwide.

For the academic year 2007-2008, 1 Vietnamese scholar was awarded a Fulbright Specialists Program grant to the U.S.
