Ten-month grants are available for Norwegian students at the graduate level. Scholar awards are also available for lecturing and research.

Opportunities in the U.S. for Norwegians

Grants to Norway for U.S. citizens are offered in the graduate student, lecturing, lecturing/research or research categories. Nine-month awards for the Roving Scholar positions allow scholars to visit upper secondary schools and visit lower-secondary schools for consultations on curriculum and the teaching of American studies. The Foundation supports several inter-country grants that enable U.S. Fulbright scholars in other European countries to come to Norway to give lectures or conduct research and provides intra-country grants to make it possible for Fulbright scholars in Norway to visit other Norwegian universities. Specialist grants are also offered for U.S. faculty and professionals.
