Fulbright Program Opportunities in the U.S. for Kazakhstanis Fulbright Educational Exchange programs between the United States and the Republic of Kazakhstan are managed by the U.S. Embassy in Astana and the Fulbright Office of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, as both offices are part of the U.S. Department of State. Both the U.S. Embassy and the Fulbright Office administer the program in conjunction with the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) and the Institute of International Education (IIE). Fulbright Program Opportunities in Kazakhstan for Americans The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships to Americans who are recent BA/BS graduates, master's and doctoral students, young professionals, and artists for study and research abroad. In addition, Critical Language Enhancement Awards are available to grantees for study of critical need foreign languages before and during the grant period.
