Sangeeta has seen first hand the causes of one of Asia's highest maternal mortality rates. She wants to take what she has learned as a Fulbrighter in the U.S. to combat the issue of mothers dying while or shortly after giving birth. Boston's NPR affiliate WBUR interviewed Sangeeta about women's health in Nepal for its Here and Now program on June 5, 2009.
