Mexican Teachers The Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program in Mexico is administered by the Mexico-United States Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange. Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program The Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program involves one-on-one exchanges of approximately 500 administrators and teachers from K-12 schools, community colleges, and four-year institutions. Website: http://www.fulbrightteacherexchange.org/ In academic year 2007-2008, 12 Mexican teachers and administrators were awarded new Fulbright grants to the U.S. Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA) The Fulbright FLTA program is a nine-month, non-degree program providing future teachers of English with the opportunity to refine their skills, increase their English language proficiency, and extend their knowledge of U.S. society and culture while strengthening foreign language instruction at U.S. colleges and universities, and some high schools.
