Pre-Departure Orientation for Fulbright Scholars and Students
Fulbright U.S. Scholars and Students awarded grants to the following countries are required to attend a mandatory pre-departure orientation in Washington, DC in the summer of 2011. Failure to attend the pre-departure orientation may result in the forfeiture of the grant.
Fulbright U.S. Scholars and Students awarded grants from countries NOT listed below do not need to attend a predeparture orientation seminar in Washington, DC. They will receive specific instructions and orientation materials from their host country at a later date.

The Pre-Departure Orientations will provide practical information on living in the host country and region, as well as administrative details related to a Fulbright grant. Additionally, the orientation will provide time to meet other 2011-12 Fulbright U.S. scholars and students, as well as Fulbright alumni. If you are awarded a Fulbright grant, you will receive an official invitation and registration instructions after you have been notified of your award.
