Grants are available for Senegalese to pursue graduate study in the U.S. Post-doctoral research and teaching opportunities are also available for Senegalese scholars. In addition, the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program is open to Senegalese teachers of English.
Opportunities in the U.S. for Senegalese
Fulbright offers grants to Senegal for U.S. citizens in the student and scholar categories. Students can conduct research independently or toward a master's degree or Ph.D. dissertation. Scholars can lecture and/or conduct post-doctoral research. The Fulbright Specialist program is also available.

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer.

is a nine-month, non-degree program providing young teachers of English with the opportunity to refine their skills, increase their English language proficiency, and extend their knowledge of U.S. society and culture while strengthening foreign language instruction at U.S. colleges and universities. -
Scholars
Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program
The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants to lecture and/or conduct postdoctoral research at U.S. institutions for an academic semester to a full academic year.
Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) Program
The Fulbright SIR Program brings scholars and professionals from abroad to U.S. college and university campuses for a semester or an academic year, primarily to teach undergraduate courses. SIR grantees also assist in developing curricula and serve as a resource for faculty, students, and the community.
