Cambodia
The Fulbright Program with Cambodia was reinstated in 1993 after a lapse of 20 years.
In order to respond to a shortage of trained personnel in Cambodia during its transitional period from a centrally planned economy to a free market economy, the Fulbright Program concentrates on providing graduate studies for Cambodian students in a range of fields and on upgrading the credentials of its university faculty members.

Grants to Cambodia for U.S. citizens are offered in the student and scholar categories.
