Switzerland
Grants are available for Swiss students to pursue Master's and Ph.D. degrees in the United States. Swiss teachers are eligible for one-to-one exchanges with American counterparts. At this time, Switzerland does not participate in the visiting scholar program.
Opportunities in the U.S. for Swiss
Grants to Switzerland are available for U.S. students in all fields, including the arts. One-year Fulbright awards are given each year to students to carry out research projects or enroll in Swiss universities at the graduate level. U.S. teachers are eligible for one-to-one exchanges with Swiss counterparts. U.S. scholars and professionals are eligible for two to six-week lecturing and consulting opportunities at Swiss universities through the Fulbright Specialist Program.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer.
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program in Switzerland is administered by the U.S. Embassy in Bern.

Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program
The Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program provides opportunities for teachers to participate in direct exchanges of positions with colleagues from other countries for a semester or a year. By living and working abroad, exchange teachers gain an understanding and appreciation of different educational systems and cultures, and enrich their schools and communities by providing students with new perspectives about the world in which they live.
The Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program in Switzerland is administered by the ch Youth Exchange.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study abroad for one academic year.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). In Switzerland, Fulbright U.S. students are supported by the U.S. Embassy in Bern.

Fulbright Specialist Program
The Fulbright Specialist Program, a short-term complement to the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program, sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at overseas academic institutions for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
