The Fulbright Program in Lebanon is administered by the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, AMIDEAST, the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars, and the Institute of International Education.
Fulbright Grants are available for Lebanese students to pursue graduate degrees in the U.S., and for Lebanese scholars to pursue post-doctoral research and lecturing opportunities at U.S. institutions.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer.
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program for Lebanese is administered by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut and AMIDEAST.
Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program
The Fulbright FLTA Program, a component of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, provides young teachers of English as a Foreign Language the opportunity to refine their teaching skills and broaden their knowledge of American cultures and customs while strengthening the instruction of foreign languages at colleges and universities in the United States.
The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program in Lebanon is administered by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut and the Institute of International Education. Interested applicants should contact the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program
The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants to lecture and/or conduct postdoctoral research at U.S. institutions for an academic semester to a full academic year.
Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) Program
The Fulbright SIR Program brings scholars and professionals from abroad to U.S. college and university campuses for a semester or an academic year, primarily to teach undergraduate courses. SIR grantees also assist in developing curricula and serve as a resource for faculty, students, and the community.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program sends American scholars and professionals abroad to lecture and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
Fulbright Specialist Program
The Fulbright Specialist Program, a short-term complement to the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program, sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at overseas academic institutions for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
