The Fulbright Program offers grants for degree programs in the U.S. for qualified graduate students and faculty members. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program provides grants to Bolivian students for study toward a Master’s or Ph.D. degrees at U.S. universities.  Faculty development grants awarded to faculty members of Bolivian universities for advanced study in the U.S. Full and partial grants are offered and English language training is provided if needed.

Fulbright Program Opportunities in the U.S. for Bolivians

Grants to Bolivia for U.S. citizens are offered in the student and scholar categories. Full-year awards are available to U.S. students for up to one year of post-graduate study or research. Lecturer/research grants and Specialist grants are available for U.S. faculty and professionals.

      Fulbright U.S. Student Program

      The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study abroad for one academic year.

      The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

      Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program

      The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program sends American scholars and professionals abroad to lecture and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.

      Fulbright Specialist Program

      The Fulbright Specialist Program, a short-term complement to the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program, sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at overseas academic institutions for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.

      The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
